Length
of Seminar:
4
days - Tuesday-Friday. Sign-in is at the main entrance on Clark Street
NOT LATER THAN 8:30 a.m. daily. Friday class ends NOT LATER THAN
3:30 p.m. (Allow two hours for travel to the Syracuse Airport.)
Cost:
$725.00
(US funds) per attendee payable at least 45 days in advance of training.
Departmental check, money order, credit card, or certified
check can be accepted for payment, P.O.'s are also accepted. Please
use the mailing address on the factory
school registration form. Invoices are due upon receipt.
Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing no less than 30 days
prior to scheduled class. There will be a $100.00 administration fee for
any cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the scheduled class.
Failure to show for the scheduled class will result in a charge for the
entire tuition. Payments received less than 45 days prior to class will
result in a late payment fee of $50.00. Students must attend the entire
course and payment must be received in order for the student to receive
his/her certificate.
Equipment/Tools:
All
necessary tools and equipment for each student will be provided by Remington
for his/her use while attending the seminar. Please
wear appropriate work clothing, no shorts, no open toe shoes. See

Factory School Class Content:
- Introduction
to Arms Service & Repair; parts ordering procedures.
- Overview
of Remington's law enforcement products.
- Design
history of Model 870 & 11-87 shotguns.
- Nomenclature
& firearm function.
- Disassembly
& inspection.
- Troubleshooting
& service checks.
- Repair
procedures & adjustments.
- Maintenance
recommendations.
- Re-assembly,
function checks & final inspection.
- Disassembly, re-assembly & maintenance of the Model 700P rifle.
- Factory
tour with Custom Shop visit.
Skeet and/or trap shooting
is available at the Ilion Gun Club (Student's cost) on Thursday
afternoon, following class.
Registration:
The factory
school registration form
must be returned to reserve your slot. No students will be accepted for
training without this form on file with Remington. Fast response is necessary,
as many are on the waiting list and we are selecting on a first come,
first served basis. Class size is limited to 24 students per session.

WILL BE ACCEPTED VIA PHONE); however, you may fax the
