Remington is changing the hull color of Law Enforcement Rifled Slugs to give the user a second method of quick recognition. Obviously, the “feel for the slug at the nose of the shell” still applies for all dark and light situations , but we have made it easier yet in the light by differentiating the hull colors between the Slugs (BLUE) and Buckshot Loads (GREEN).

Law Enforcement Carrier Release
Combat loading the 1187P just became easier with the newest upgrade feature of the elongated carrier release button. With the normal action of combat load technique, the nose of the round will easily engage the carrier release button to allow quick access to the magazine tube. Loading the 1187P now becomes as easy as loading the 870P.
